Sponsored posts are paid posts written with the specific intent of driving web traffic to a website or to otherwise benefit a product, service, or brand.
The Money Mix accepts paid guest posts and paid sponsored posts relevant to readers of money and personal finance content at our discretion.
All paid posts are clearly labeled with “Sponsored” in the title, and any backlinks included in the post are “no follow.”
Paid Guest Posts
These are paid posts written by personal finance bloggers to promote the writing and/or website of the blogger.
There are two types of paid guest posts: (1) paid guest posts featuring original, previously unpublished content, and (2) paid guest posts featuring previously published content.
For paid guest posts featuring original previously unpublished content, rates are commensurate with the amount of time the paid guest post will be featured prominently in the “Recent Posts” sidebar area of The Money Mix and published on The Money Mix blog:
- One week: $50
- Two Weeks: $90
- Three Weeks: $125
- Four Weeks: $150
For paid guest posts featuring previously published content, rates are also commensurate with the amount of time the paid guest post will be featured prominently in the “Recent Posts” sidebar area of The Money Mix and published on The Money Mix blog, but rates are higher, since the material may not be as fresh as previously unpublished content:
- One week: $75
- Two Weeks: $135
- Three Weeks: $175
- Four Weeks: $200
One “no-follow” backlink is included with the purchase of a paid guest post, and paid guest posts must meet all of the guest post guidelines. All paid guest posts are clearly labeled with “Sponsored” in the title.
Paid Sponsored Posts
These are paid posts written to promote a web site, product, service, or brand other than the writing and/or website of a personal finance blog.
Paid sponsored posts include product reviews, recommendations, and press releases.
We accepted paid sponsored posts on a number of topics, including personal finance, money, investing, real estate, finance, investment property, family finance, investing, retirement planning, business, marketing, and digital marketing.
For paid sponsored posts, rates are commensurate with the number of requested “no-follow” backlinks contained within the post:
- One link: $150
- Two links: $275
- Three links: $375
Paid sponsored posts should contain between 750 and 1,250 words and can contain graphics and other press materials.
However, no more than three graphics are allowed per paid sponsored post. All paid sponsored posts are clearly labeled with “Sponsored” in the title.
If you’re interested in purchasing an ad campaign instead, here’s how they work.
Editing, Guarantees, and Payment
The Money Mix reserves the right to edit paid posts before publishing, and there’s a nominal $20 review and editing fee for all guest and sponsored content submitted for potential publication on the site. For paid guest posts and paid sponsored posts, the review and editing fee is included in the prices quoted above.
The Money Mix provides no guarantees as to the number of click-throughs or the amount of web traffic a paid post may generate.
The Money Mix requires a down payment of 50% at the time of submission of a post. The remaining balance is due within 12 hours of the date of publishing. The original 50% down payment is not refundable, and late payment of the remaining balance will result in deletion of the post. The Money Mix accepts payments through Paypal.
